VISIA uses a special camera to photograph the face from the front and from the left and right oblique angles to analyze eight major skin conditions, including spots, wrinkles, pores, uneven coloration, hidden blemishes, porphyrin (acne bacteria), melanin, and blood flow status.
The highly accurate 3D position matching function and constant lighting conditions minimize the effects of misalignment of positions and light during imaging to achieve accurate and reproducible diagnosis. In addition, by comparing the analysis results with average values of the same age group, one can objectively understand one's skin condition and clearly identify points that need to be improved.
Furthermore, it can detect skin problems that are currently invisible, such as "hidden blemishes" caused by UV damage, and predict future risks so that measures can be taken at an early stage.
After diagnosis, a detailed report is provided and the results are used to suggest improvements in skin care and appropriate cosmetic procedures.
