Gynecologic plastic surgery is unique in that it can be customized to individual concerns. There are a variety of types of surgery available, such as labia minora reduction, labia majora reduction, and labial foreskin excision, to name a few. In addition, since the procedure is performed under local anesthesia, there is little or no pain during the surgery. Results vary from person to person, but permanent results can be expected for surgeries involving excision. However, there is a possibility that the shape may change with aging or childbirth.

All of our gynecologic plastic surgery procedures are performed by female staff and female doctors with extensive case experience, so many people feel comfortable undergoing these procedures.

Risks and side effects of labia minora reduction and vulvectomy include the following

• Swelling and bleeding (may last 1-2 weeks after surgery)
• left-lateral difference
• Wound opening
• Risk of infection or suppuration
• allergic reaction
• Possible scar formation

The process of treatment is usually as follows

1. Counseling: Discuss with the doctor and hear about the desired results.
2. Decide on the date of surgery: After the counseling, we will decide on the date you wish to have the surgery. We will also explain the precautions to be taken.
3. Before the same-day surgery: Local anesthesia is administered.
4. Surgery: Surgery is performed, followed by a period of rest.
5. Recovery period: 1-2 weeks of bed rest is required, and aftercare will be thoroughly explained.
6. Follow-up: Periodic visits to the physician in charge and removal of stitches and other procedures are required.
