velvet skin

Velvet Skin is a cosmetic skin procedure that promotes skin regeneration and firmness through a combination treatment of Dermapen and PRX-T33 (peeling agent). Micro needling uses microscopic needles to make tiny holes in the skin to stimulate collagen production, while PRX-T33 penetrates the skin to promote skin regeneration.

This procedure is effective in improving wrinkles, sagging, pore size, and skin texture, and is recommended for achieving smoother, younger looking skin in a short period of time.

List of concerns

  • Those who want to improve skin elasticity and luster
  • Those concerned about open pores and blackheads
  • Those who wish to improve fine lines and sagging skin
  • Those who wish to improve overall skin quality.
  • Those who wish to promote collagen production.
  • Those who wish to improve acne scars and uneven skin tone.

Velvet Skin Features

Velvet Skin promotes regeneration from deep within the skin through the synergistic effects of the Dermapen and PRX-T33. While the dermapen provides physical stimulation, PRX-T33 chemically works on the skin. This double approach effectively improves skin elasticity and firmness.

Downtime after the procedure is short, with only some redness and mild peeling, usually within a few days. This allows the patient to achieve beautiful skin quickly and without disrupting daily life. It is especially suitable for busy people or as pre-event care.

Risks and Side Effects

Side effects and risks are described below.

  • Redness appears immediately after the procedure.
  • Makeup cannot be applied on the day of treatment.
  • Skin becomes dry easily (about 1 week)
  • Rarely, internal bleeding may be seen.
  • You must refrain from washing your face for 6 hours after the procedure.
  • Makeup within 24 hours is not recommended.

Velvet Skin is a combination of dermapen and massage peels to promote skin regeneration and collagen production. The frequency of treatment is generally once a month for a course of 5 sessions. Continuous treatment every 2~3 months is recommended to maintain the effect.
